Michele previously served as CEO of Wood Americas PLC. She held multiple positions during her 16 years at Wood, from Project Engineer, Project Manager, Offshore Business Unit President, and Executive Vice President before serving as CEO. Prior to Wood, Michele also worked at ABB Lummus for 12 years and Amoco Production Company for 3 years. She currently serves on the board of ECC, the Association for the Capital Projects Engineering & Construction Community.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University (Class of 1986) and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. She stays connected to the university as a member of the Texas A&M University College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council and the newly formed Aggie Women Engineers Network.
Michele serves the community through her ongoing board of director memberships on American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer - Gulf Coast Chapter (founding member and Chair for three years), Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas (Executive Committee and Board member), Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council and National Charity League – Katy Chapter serving as Treasurer for two years. Michele has three children - one son and two daughters.
