We’re Spilling the Beans...Arion is ISO 9001 Certified!
In January of 2026, Arion obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification after an external audit confirmed the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) meets the international industry standards of regulatory compliance required for ISO designation. Vicki Urbanowski, Arion’s HSEQ Director, led the nearly year-long effort in pursuit of ISO certification. This achievement demonstrates that the organization has built effective, repeatable quality processes implemented across leadership, planning, support, operations, performance evaluation, and improvement. The system supports consistent project execution, customer satisfaction, and compliance with client, statutory, and regulatory requirements across all projects.
“Our ISO 9001 designation demonstrates Arion is committed to our Performance pillar – and now an independent third-party agrees,” said CEO Michele McNichol. “This certification highlights that we aren’t just using buzzwords – we are living this commitment at every level of our organization.”
To obtain certification, organizations must develop and implement a QMS, conduct internal audits, and pass a rigorous external audit conducted by an independent auditing entity. With ISO 9001:2015 certification complete, Arion further advances as a leader in providing Engineering, Design and Procurement Services to the energy industry.
