Project Objective

Arion provided direct support to the Project Management Team of Operators/Owners in the Gulf of Mexico. The objective of the project was to design topside facilities for two wellhead platforms located in Mexico, with two platforms currently under development at the time. The primary aim was to establish initial tie-ins to existing processing infrastructure for early production, ensuring efficient extraction and processing of oil and gas resources.

Project Overview

The field layout included shallow-water fixed platforms, a 20+ dry tree development featuring multiple platforms, infield gathering, and oil and gas transmission pipelines. Additionally, integrating with existing infrastructure required Brownfield modifications. Subsequent production phases involved channeling resources through a central processing platform for oil sales at an onshore terminal and gas-off take at an existing Enlace platform.

Project Outcome

Arion successfully designed and implemented topside facilities for two wellhead platforms, meeting project objectives within the designated timeframe. Our comprehensive support to the Operators/Owners Project Management Team in Project Execution, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Contract Management for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation ensured the seamless installation and operational efficiency of the project. The client's reliance on Arion's extensive expertise underscores the strategic decision-making process vital for the development of their offshore assets, resulting in enhanced productivity and resource utilization.
