Key Facts
Location: West Texas
Scope of Work: Detailed Engineering and Design
Services: Package Design for Retrofit, Laser Scanning the Sites, On-site Model Reviews with Client Field Operations Staff, Skid to Central Production Facility, Skid to Regional Oil Treating Facility, PHA/HAZOP Participation
Project Objective
Our objective was to execute detailed engineering and design services for the Midstream E&P Group in West Texas, with the goal of optimizing operations, ensuring safety, and facilitating efficient execution across 58 sites.
Project Overview
Arion completed the detailed engineering and design for 58 Sites across the region for a major midstream producer. The sites consisted of 32 ea. Oil Skids, 23 ea. Produced Water Skids, and 5 ea. Instrument Skids. Scope of services included package design for retrofit addition of produced water skid and oil skid to pump to pipeline, laser scanning the sites to reduce fabrication time and eliminate site welding, on-site model reviews with Client field operations staff to ensure alignment on proposed layouts for design optimization across multiple tank batteries, Skid to Central Production Facility, Skid to Regional Oil Treating Facility, PHA/HAZOP participation, and more.
Project Outcome
Through Arion's adept management and coordination of work across multiple sites, we successfully optimized operations, ensured safety, and delivered this schedule-critical program on time.
Client Quote
“The feedback from construction was overwhelmingly positive. Everything fit up as planned, the drawing packets were correct, and they were very appreciative of the new isolation plans and SOW formatting…the shut-down scope of work only took ~4 hours, which although it seems ‘simple’ is very fast for a brownfield project…from a construction perspective I’m confident that we’ve finally reached the point we’ve all been looking forward to – safe, efficient, rinse and repeat execution! Many thanks for your partnership and support throughout this program.”– Project Manager
